Here's a fun activity for kids of all ages! (Plus, you can get some sensory play & color theory in there, too! ;)
Materials (for each ball):
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 1 TBS Borax
• 1 TBS cornstarch
• 2 TBS white glue
• 2-3 drops food coloring
• bowls
• forks/spoons
• gloves (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix 1 TBS Borax into 1/2 cup warm water.
2. In a separate bowl, mix 1 TBS cornstarch, 2 TBS white glue, and 2-3 drops of food coloring.
3. Once thoroughly mixed, pour the glue mixture into the water & Borax mixture. Swirl. In 10-15 seconds, the glue will start to harden. Remove with fork or spoon.
4. Squeeze the mixture in your hands until it begins to stiffen. (If it remains too sticky, simply re-dip into the water/Borax mixture and re-squeeze.)
