DIY - Bouncy Ball Recipe!

Here's a fun activity for kids of all ages! (Plus, you can get some sensory play & color theory in there, too! ;)

Materials (for each ball):
• 1/2 cup warm water
• 1 TBS Borax
• 1 TBS cornstarch
• 2 TBS white glue
• 2-3 drops food coloring
• bowls
• forks/spoons
• gloves (optional)

Directions:
1. Mix 1 TBS Borax into 1/2 cup warm water.

2. In a separate bowl, mix 1 TBS cornstarch, 2 TBS white glue, and 2-3 drops of food coloring.

3. Once thoroughly mixed, pour the glue mixture into the water & Borax mixture. Swirl. In 10-15 seconds, the glue will start to harden. Remove with fork or spoon.

4. Squeeze the mixture in your hands until it begins to stiffen. (If it remains too sticky, simply re-dip into the water/Borax mixture and re-squeeze.)

5. Roll into a ball. Do "test bounces" to see if it's firm enough. Store in plastic container or Baggie when not in use to keep the ball from completed drying out. If the ball flattens, just re-roll the ball into shape.
