The life of a sensory/ASD parent - each child stims in his or her own way. This one dangles everything he possibly can. Shoes are a favorite, as are bubble wands. Stimming is an individual's way of self-regulating, or coping with the world around them. You may also see flapping arms & legs, rubbing an object repeatedly, chewing on things, spinning things, or a whole host of other ways for a sensory child to make his or her world comfortable for themselves. Dangle on, little brother!
