Am I the only one who ever feels this way? When we spend time in public, I'm always reminded of how very different my kids are. I have to do a lot of explaining when people talk to my very large 9yo & he stares back at them in response. Or when he's given instructions and simply doesn't understand them. Both boys need extra support to do things most people take for granted. Sometimes I wonder if there will ever be a day when people understand differences without making me feel like I need to justify them. Different isn't better or worse. It's just different.
