I had heard rumors that Sesame Street would be launching a new character on the autism spectrum, but didn't know exactly what that would entail. Today they announced Julia! While there currently aren't plans to feature her in the regular program, they have launched a new online book as well as Elmo badges that incorporate daily activities like brushing teeth and bathing!
