Whipped Body Butter Recipe


This is kind of a random post from me, but I'm loving it so I decided to share! I have terrible "flip-flop feet", and I wanted something super moisturizing that wasn't perfumed (I'm allergic to most fragrances), so I started playing with some of the natural ingredients I had in my house. I ended up with a whipped body butter that I love! ❤ 

The best part of this is that if you add too much oil, you can thicken it up with more butter & visa versa. I've now played with adding olive oil, sweet almond oil, & coconut oil. I personally prefer the almond oil, as I thought it felt less greasy & absorbed better than the other two. This isn't totally fragrance-free, as the natural ingredients have their own scents, but you could also add essential oils in the final moments of whipping.

I hand mixed mine (my boys can't tolerate the mixer...sensory overload 😳), and it did have small lumps left in it. Just warm those in your hand and they melt away. 😉
